We look forward to welcoming you to the inaugural ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon that is taking place on 7 December 2018, bringing the world's oldest race to the world's most futuristic city.

Take in the finest aspects of Abu Dhabi's heritage, modern landmarks and the waters of the Arabian Gulf at this world-class athletics event, set against the backdrop of the Capital's stunning architecture.

In the Spirit of the Nation, celebrating the Year of Zayed, we encourage runners of all abilities to participate in a range of events from 2.5 km and 5 km fun runs, to the 10 km and full distance marathon.  Whether you run, walk, wheelchair or push a buggy, this event truly offers an opportunity for the whole community to participate and spend a day with friends and family at the race village which will provide entertainment, race coverage and children's activities.

The marathon and 10 km run will start at 6 am followed by the 2.5 and 5 km run at 10 am.  There is a 6 hour cut-off time for the marathon.
