Liwa  Cycle Challenge | Moreeb Dune
 

One event not to miss on your cycling calendar is the 18 January 2019 Liwa Cycle Challenge which is a community cycling event presented by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.  
 

The stunning area of Liwa with the start/finish area near Moreeb Dune will surely make you want to come back year after year. The race will see riders traverse the most picturesque terrain in the Empty Quarter of the United Arab Emirates.

Long: 110 km
Intermediate: 73 km
Short: 44 km
Juniors (6-12 years): 8 km or 16 km

Road to Moreeb Dunes closes from Liwa at 7am for an 8am race Start time.
