DESCRIPTION
The Paws for a Cause 5K series is coming to Mt. Juliet for a 5K Run/Walk. This Family/Dog Friendly event will benefit New Leash on Life. The event is sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka and their Vodka for Dog People program. Get this event on your race calendar as a morning of fun is in store...all to help support our furry friends.

POST RACE FESTIVITIES
Plan on joining us after the Run/Walk at Corner Pub located very near the park at 4136 N. Mt. Juliet Road. Here you can enjoy some Tito's Handmade Vodka and please consider staying aorund for lunch...and maybe some more Tito's!! There is space available on their outdoor deck for you to being along your dogs. This will be a great venue to mingle around and socialize following a fun 5K Run/Walk. Thank you to Corner Pub for their hospitality and also to Tito's Handmake Vodka!!
NEW LEASH ON lIFE
We will be running to raise awareness and funds for New Leash on Life. Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.

RACE DAY DETAILS:
The run starts promptly at 10:00 AM. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 8:30 AM. We recommend arriving early and giving yourself enough time get your race packet and get to the start line. We ask that runners start in the front, with walkers and those with strollers and dogs start to the back. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a dog friendly event, however all dogs must be leashed at all times during the event. By registering and having a dog in attendance, you assume all liability and release all sponsors, organizers and municipalities from any liability arising from your pet’s actions.
PARKING:
There is ample parking in the Charlie Daniels Park.
AWARDS:
All participants will receive a custom finishers medal. The top three male and female will be recognized as well as top male and female in predetermined age groups.
PRE RACE PACKET PICKUP
Pre-Race Day pick up will be held on Friday March 2, 2018 from 5:00PM until 6:00 PM at Corner Pub located at 4136 N Mt. Juliet Road. Plan on staying around for dinner and perhaps enjoy some Pre-Race Tito's!!
