ANMELDUNG:
Für Mitglieder des Vereins Racedogs Austria ist die Anmeldung bereits am 29.04.2017 in der Zeit von 10:00-23:00 geöffnet. Alle anderen können sich vom 30.4.2017, 20.00 Uhr bis zum 01.08.2017 unter www.racedogs-austria.com in einer der drei folgenden Klassen anmelden:
1) Veteranen (max. 160 Startplätze):
Mindestens ein bisheriger IronDog-Start; Triathlon oder Duathlon (inklusive Nachtlauf) muss komplett bestritten werden.
2) Rookies (max. 40 Startplätze):
Noch keine IronDog-Teilnahme; Triathlon oder Duathlon (inklusive Nachtlauf) muss komplett bestritten werden.
3) Happy Dog-Klasse (unbegrenzte Anzahl an Startplätzen):
Training unter Wettkampfbedingungen; auch einzelne Teilbewerbe des Triathlons sind möglich.
4) Knirpsen/Kinderlauf (unbegrenzte Anzahl an Startplätzen)
Diese Einteilung, die 2017 erstmalig in Kraft tritt, ermöglicht allen interessierten Sportlern die IronDog-Teilnahme unter den für sie optimalen Bedingungen.

13:00 Siegerehrung
!!! GANZ WICHTIG !!! Der Hund ist der Schrittmacher, d.h. der Rad-/Scooterfahrer bzw. Läufer muss das Tempo dem Hund anpassen. Der vierbeiniger Teampartner MUSS sich IMMER vor dem Bike/Scooter bzw. vor dem Läufer befinden. Der Teilnehmer muss seine Fahrt oder seinen Lauf verlangsamen, falls der Hund das Tempo nicht mehr laufen kann. Das gleiche gilt fürs das Schwimmen, der Hund muss freiwillig ins Wasser gehen! Bei Nichteinhaltung (Stoßen, Ziehen oder Werfen des Hundes) erfolgt die sofortige Disqualifikation!
Es kann natürlich passieren, dass der Hund nicht ins Wasser will, in diesem Fall muss nach Ablauf einer Minute eine Strafrunde um den Teich gelaufen werden, bevor mit dem Mountainbike bzw. Scooter gestartet werden darf.
TIERÄRZTLICHE VORGABEN:
Mindestalter des Hundes: 18 Monate, ein aufrechter Impfschutz gegen Tollwut muss beim Eintreffen am Wettkampfgelände nachgewiesen werden (Impfpass nicht vergessen)! Die Impfung darf nicht jünger sein als 30 Tage vor dem Wettkampf.
Der Hund muss durch einen Mikro-Chip identifiziert werden können. Alle geforderten Angaben sind wahrheitsgetreu anzugeben. Der Teilnehmer erklärt dem Veranstalter verbindlich, dass sein Hund bei bester Gesundheit ist und dass die benötigten Impfungen (Tollwut) aktuell sind. Außerdem bestätigt er, dass sein Hund aus keinem Seuchengebiet (Tollwut, Maul- und Klauenseuche o. ä.) und aus keinem Gebiet mit veterinärbehördlicher Verkehrsbeschränkung kommt. Dies gilt auch für Hunde, die nicht am Rennen teilnehmen, sich aber auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände aufhalten.

Diese Startgebühren inkludieren die Benützung des ausgeschilderten und überwachten Trails, die Zeitnehmung,die Campinggebühr, eine Erinnerungsurkunde und Trophäen für die Bestplatzierten. Die Familienstartgebühr gilt für Paare und deren Kinder. Darüber hinaus stellen auch heuer wieder zahlreiche Sponsorfirmen Sachpreise zur Verfügung.

Achtung:
Um diejenigen, die vorerst nur einen Platz auf der Warteliste ergattert haben, nicht länger als nötig im Ungewissen zu lassen, ob sie starten können oder nicht, sehen wir es als notwendig an, die Deadline für die Einzahlung (und zwar für das tatsächliche Einlangen der Startgebühr auf dem Vereinskonto) auf Mittwoch, den 15.5.2017 vorzuverlegen! Darauf wurden alle TeilnehmerInnen bereits mittels Anmeldebestätigung hingewiesen.
Falls eine Direktabbuchung im Zuge der Anmeldung auf RaceResults nicht möglich sein sollte, muss die Startgebühr bis spätestens 01.08.2017 auf dem Vereinskonto eingelangt sein:

Bei Nichtantritt kann die Startgebühr nicht rückerstattet werden. Eine eventuelle Weitergabe des Startplatzes und/oder Ummeldungen sind bis spätestens 8.9.2017 möglich. Die Benachrichtigung an das Organisationsteam über die Weitergabe eines Startplatzes muss hierbei ausnahmslos vom bereits gemeldeten Starter erfolgen.
REGLEMENT:
Die Teilnahme ist ausschließlich mit einem Hund jeder beliebigen Rasse und einem Mindestalter von 18 Monaten erlaubt, solange das Tier den physischen und psychischen Anforderungen der Veranstaltung entspricht. Aufgrund der engen Passagen und der immer wieder möglichen Überholmanöver ist es auch besonders wichtig, dass die teilnehmenden Hunde wesensfest genug sind, um hierbei keine Probleme entstehen zu lassen.
Jeder Teilnehmer, der sich für den Irondog-Bewerb (egal in welcher Klasse) anmeldet, verpflichtet sich zu folgendem: Das Teilnahmeformular muss inklusive vollständiger Adresse vollständig und korrekt ausgefüllt sein. Den Anweisungen des Veranstalters und seiner Helfer ist Folge zu leisten. Bei einem Zwischen- oder Unfall ist der Halter selbst für seinen Hund verantwortlich. Der veranstaltende Verein, ein lokaler Organisator oder ein betroffener Grundeigentümer kann auf keinen Fall für irgendwelche Probleme mit Dritten verantwortlich gemacht werden. Der Teilnehmer bestätigt, dass er eine Haftpflichtversicherung für seinen Hund abgeschlossen hat. Er verpflichtet sich weiters, seinen Hund während der gesamten Veranstaltung jederzeit angeleint zu führen. Der Teilnehmer versichert, dass er keine unerlaubten, leistungssteigernden Mittel (Doping) zu sich nimmt oder seinem Hund verabreicht. Mit dem Ausfüllen des Teilnahmeformulars bestätigt er außerdem, dass er das Veranstaltungsreglement befolgen wird. Selbst wenn er das Reglement nicht gelesen hat und an der Veranstaltung teilnimmt, akzeptiert er dieses. Bei der Teilnahme am Irondog-Bewerb übernimmt der Teilnehmer selbst die volle Verantwortung für seine und die Gesundheit seines Hundes. Eventuelle Rettungs- bzw. Bergungskosten sind vom Teilnehmer selbst zu tragen. Ein Teilnehmer, der in diesem Reglement angegebene Vorschriften nicht beachtet, kann (auch ohne Vorwarnung) von der Veranstaltung ausgeschlossen werden, wobei eine bereits einbezahlte Startgebühr nicht zurückerstattet wird.
AUSRÜSTUNG:
Jeder teilnehmende Hund hat ein passendes Brustgeschirr zu tragen, an welchem die Leine befestigt ist. Die Länge der Leine darf bei ausgezogenem Ruckdämpfer 2,5 m nicht überschreiten. Beim Radfahren kann die Leine an der Lenksäule des Rades oder (mittels eines Bauchgurts) am Menschen befestigt sein. Ein seitliches Befestigen der Leine am Rahmen des Fahrrades ist aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht gestattet. Ausroll-Leinen und Würgehalsbänder ohne Zugstopp sind bei der Veranstaltung untersagt. Eine Stirnlampe ist für den Nachtlauf vorgeschrieben, Handschuhe und Helm für das Bike-/Scooterjöring. Die Organisatoren empfehlen mindestens zwei Paar Laufschuhe.
ZEITNAHME UND START:
Gestartet wird einzeln (jeweils ein Mensch-Hund-Team) und im Minutentakt. Die Zeitnehmung erfolgt elektronisch. Die Bewerbe werden ohne vorgeschriebene Pause (Zeitnehmung läuft auch beim Wechsel von einer Sportart zur nächsten weiter) und in folgender Reihenfolge durchgeführt:
Schwimmen – Radfahren – Laufen
VERHALTEN IN DER WECHSELZONE:
Die Ausrüstung muss rechtzeitig vor dem Start in der Wechselzone deponiert werden. Die Hunde der Triathleten sind unbedingt am Halsband an der Wechselzonen-Stakeoutkette anzuhängen. Jede teilnehmende Person ist selbst dafür verantwortlich, sich rechtzeitig im Vorstartbereich einzufinden. Beim Duathlon darf den teilnehmenden Personen im Startbereich vor der Abfahrt von einer Person assistiert werden. Diese Person hält entweder den Hund oder das Rad. Die teilnehmende Person darf erst an der gekennzeichneten Startlinie auf ihr Bike aufsitzen bzw. auf ihren Scooter steigen. Alle teilnehmenden Personen haben dafür Sorge zu tragen, dass ihre Hunde im Vorstartbereich kein anderes Team behindern oder gefährden.
VERHALTEN:
Selbstverständlich haben alle im Bundesland gültigen Tierschutzgesetze eingehalten zu werden. Der Hund darf sich während des Rennens niemals hinter dem Menschen befinden, die gefahrene/geschwommene/gelaufene Geschwindigkeit wird vom Hund vorgegeben. Ein Teilnehmer darf seinen oder einen anderen Hund auf keinen Fall quälen. Wenn ein solcher Vorfall bekannt wird, sei es durch Zeugen, mit Fotos oder durch die Veranstaltungsleitung belegt, hat dies den sofortigen Ausschluss des Teilnehmers zur Folge. Ein Teilnehmer, der überholt wird, muss auf den Zuruf „Trail!“ oder „Trail stop!“ den Weg freigeben und gegebenenfalls stehenbleiben, bis der Überholende den Überholvorgang abgeschlossen hat. Der Teilnehmer muss jederzeit dafür sorgen, dass sein Hund weder anderen Tieren noch Menschen Schaden oder Verletzungen zufügt. Jeder Teilnehmer hat während der gesamten Veranstaltung die Regeln sportlicher Fairness und Höflichkeit einzuhalten. Ebenso verhält er sich jederzeit im Sinne des aktiven und passiven Naturschutzes.
KONSEQUENZEN BEI REGELVERSTÖSSEN:
Unentschuldigtes Fernbleiben der Veranstaltung: kein Start im Folgejahr
Verstoß gegen die Leinenpflicht (auch im Wasser oder außerhalb der Rennzeiten): Disqualifikation
Befahrung des Trails außerhalb des Rennens: Disqualifikation
Nichtbeachtung der Pflichtausrüstung: Disqualifikation
Verstoß gegen Tierschutzverordnung: Disqualifikation
Mutwillige Manipulation des Trails: Disqualifikation
Schwimmverweigerung des Hundes: Fußweg in die Wechselzone + 5 min. Strafzeit
Hilfe in der Wechselzone (ausgenommen der zulässigen Hilfestellung im Duathlon siehe Punkt “Verhalten in der Wechselzone”): 3 min. Strafzeit
Überfahren der Wechselzonenmarkierung: 2 min. Strafzeit
Zu frühes Aufsteigen auf Bike oder Scooter: 2 min. Strafzeit
AUSHANG:
Der Veranstalter installiert eine offizielle Aushangtafel mit folgenden Hinweisen: Zeitablauf der Veranstaltung, Reglement, Teilnehmerliste, eventuelle Veränderungen, Ergebnisse (nach dem Eintreffen des letzten Teilnehmers).
PROTEST:
Proteste zum Rennverlauf müssen bis spätestens 30 Minuten nach Ende der Renndurchgänge in schriftlicher Form und unter Nennung des Verfassers, des Datums und der Uhrzeit der Veranstaltungsleitung durch Einwurf in den dafür bei der Anschlagtafel bereitgestellten Briefkasten gemeldet werden. Falls sie von offiziellen Aushängen oder der Verkündigung der Resultate abhängig sind, müssen sie bis spätestens 30 Minuten nach Aushang oder Verkündigung eingereicht werden.
Als Ansprechperson der Rennleitung fungiert der Race Marshal.
FOTORECHTE:
Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass am Veranstaltungsort Fotos angefertigt werden und zu Zwecken der Dokumentation der Veranstaltung veröffentlicht werden können. Mit ihrer Teilnahme erhalten die Veranstalter von der teilnehmenden Person ohne besondere Vergütung das Recht, anlässlich dieser Veranstaltung Fotos von ihr herzustellen und diese zu senden oder senden zu lassen sowie im Bereich der sozialen Medien (z. B. Online, Social Media, ...) und in Printmedien zu nutzen oder nutzen zu lassen.
WEITERE INFORMATIONEN:
Die Übernachtung vor Ort ist in Zelt, Wohnwagen oder Wohnmobil möglich, dies bitte bei der Anmeldung bekanntgeben, die Campinggebühr ist in der Startgebühr inkludiert.
Pro Stellplatz muss mindestens ein 6 kg-ABC-Feuerlöscher vorhanden sein.
Teams, die nur trainieren wollen, können am Samstag und Sonntag nach dem Rennen in der Happy-Dog-Klasse ohne Wertung bis spätestens 16.00 Uhr auf dem gesperrten und überwachten Trail starten. Ein Befahren des Trails außerhalb dieser Zeiten ist strengstens untersagt und wird mit dem Ausschluss von der Veranstaltung geahndet!
Teilnehmer, die im Bewerb (Triathlon oder Duathlon) gemeldet sind, können ohne Aufpreis eventuelle weitere Hunde im Rahmen der Happy Dog-Klasse trainieren.

PLACE:
For members of the association Racedogs Austria the registration already opens on the 29.04.2017 in the time from 10:00-23:00. All the others can announce themselves from the 30.04.2017, 20. 00 o'clock up to 01.08.2017 under www.racedogs-austria.com in one of the three following classes:
1) Veteran (max. 160 start places):
Must have finished the “IronDog” at least once in the last years; Triathlon or Duathlon (including nightrun) must be finished completely.
2) Rookie (max. 40 start places):
First start at the “IronDog” ever; Qualification class; Triathlon or Duathlon (including night run) must be finished completely.
3) Happy Dog class (boundless number on start places):
Training under terms of competition; also single part competitions of the triathlon are possible.
4) Toddlers / children run (boundless number on start places)
This division which comes into force in 2017 for the first time allows the participation at the IronDog under optimal conditions for all sportsmen.
Veteran (main competitions):
To registrate in the Veteran-class the participant people must be able to show at least one “Irondog” start during the past years.
For all interested sportsmen who will be at the “IronDog” for the first time. To qualify for the mainrun next year, the participant people must finish at least one entire Duathlon (incl. night run).

13:00 award ceremony Veteran- and Rookie-class
!!! IMPORTANT!!! The dog is the pacemaker, i. e. the human must adapt the tempo to the dog. The 4-legged teampartner must always be in front of the bike/ scooter or in front of the runner. The participant must slow down, if the dog can not hold the tempo any more. This rule applies also for the swimming-part, the dog must go into the water voluntarily! Disregarding these rules (Bump, drawing or throwing of the dog) means immediate disqualification! Every team has got one minute of time to enter the water. Of course it can happen that the dog does not want to go into the water within this minute. In this case the team has to take a penal round around the pond, before it can start with the bike/scooter part.
VETERINARY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum age of the dog: 18 months, vaccination protection against rabies must be proven when you arrive at the competition area (do not forget your vaccination card)! The vaccination may not be younger than 30 days from the date of the competition.
The dog must be able to be identified by a microchip. All demanded information is to be given truthfully. The participant explains to the organizer obligingly that his dog is in the best of health and that the required vaccinations (rabies) are topical. Moreover, he confirms, that his dog does not come from an epidemic area (rabies, foot-and-mouth-disease etc. ) and from no area with veterinarian-official traffic restriction. This is also valid for dogs who do not take part in the competition, but are brought to the competition area.
STARTING FEES:
Starting fee Veteran-class: 60. -, RDA members: 50. - Rookie-class: 40.-
Family start: Single start plus half an entry fee for the other person (maximum 3 people)
Child run 8-14 years: For free
Toddler run 0-7 years: For free
These starting fees include the use oft the signposted and supervised trails, the electronic timing, the camping fee, a reminiscent document and trophies for the best-placed. The family entry fee is valid for pairs and their children. In addition, numerous sponsor's companies make material prices available at the raffle.

Attention:
To let those, who only got a place on the waiting list so far, no longer than necessary in the uncertain whether they can start ornot, we look as necessary to bring the deadline for the payment (namely for actual arriving of the entryfee on the association discountpayment) forward on Wednesday, 15. 5. 2017! All participants were already pointed out to this by means of registration confirmation.
If a direct debit should not be possible in the course of the registration on RaceResults, the entry fee must have arrived at the latest 01. 08. 2017 on the association’s account:
IBAN: AT 49 2027 2000 0059 1438, BIC: SPZWAT21XXX, being on Racedogs Austria - Union Zughundesportverein Waldviertel. In default of appearance the entry fee cannot be refunded. A possible passing on of the starting place and/or re-registration for another class are possible at the latest 9/8/2017. The notification about the passing on of a starting place must occur without exception from the already announced starter.
The participation is exclusively permitted with a dog of any race and a minimum age of 18 months, as long as the animal corresponds to the physical and psychic demands of the event. Because of the narrow passages on the trail and possible overtaking manoeuvres it is also especially important that the participant dogs are good tempered to let arise no problems , on this occasion.
Every participant who announces himself for the Irondog competition (no matter in which class) commits himself to the following: The participation form must be filled correctly, including the entire address. The instructions of the organizer and his assistants must be followed. In case of an accident the participant person is responsible for his dog. The organising association, a local organizer or an affected landowner can not be held responsible. The participant confirms that he has concluded a liability insurance for his dog. He undertakes furthermore to keep his dog on the leash during the whole event. The participant assures that he does not take unauthorised, performance-enhancing substances (doping) himself or giving them to his dog. Moreover, with filling the participation form he confirms that he obeys the event regulations, even if he has not read them. With the participation in the Irondog competition the participant himself takes over the full responsibility for his own and the health of his dog. Possible rescue costs or are to be carried by the participants themselves. A participant who does not follow the given regulations can be excluded (without advance warning) from the event. The starting fee will not be refunded.
Every participant dog has to wear a suitable harness to which the leash is fastened. The length of the leash may not cross 2. 5 when the jerkdamper is fully expanded. While riding a bike the leash can be fastened to the steering column of the bike or to the waist belt of the person. Lateral fastening of theleash to the frame of the bicycle is not permitted for safety reasons. The use of flexi-leashes and choke chains are prohibited in the event. A headlamp is prescribed for the night run, gloves and a suitable bike helmet are prescribed for the bike- and scooterjöring. The organizers recommend at least two pair of shoes.
TIMING AND STARTING CONDITIONS:
Single start every minute. The time will be taken electronically. The competitions goes on without prescribed breaks (timing does not stop with the change from one discipline to the next) and in the following order:
Swimming – Bike/Scooter – Running
TRANSITION AREA
The equipment must be ready in the transition area on time before the start. The dogs of the triathletes must be attached to the collar on the stakeout chain. Each participant is personally responsible for arriving in the pre-start area on time. During the Duathlon, one person may assist the participants in the starting area before departure. This person holds either the dog or the bike. The participant may only sit on the bike on the marked start line or stand up to their scooter. All participating persons must ensure that their dogs do not hinder or endanger any other team in the pre-start area.
BEHAVIOR:
Naturally, all animal welfare laws valid in the state have to be complied with. The dog must never be behind the human being during the race, the dog's speed is determined by the dog. A participant is not allowed to torture his dog or any other dog. If such an occurrence becomes known, be it by witnesses, by photographs or by the management of the event, this will result in the immediate exclusion of the participant. A participant who is overtaken must release the trail and respond to shouts of "Trail!" Or "Trail stop!" And move to the side of the trial until the overtaking has completed the overtaking process. The participant must at all times ensure that his dog does not harm any other animals or humans. Each participant must adhere to the rules of sporting fairness and courtesy throughout the event. Also please respect nature at all times!
CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING THE RULES:
* When a registered participant doesn’t show up for the event: no start in the following year
* Removal of the leash (also in the water or outside of the race): Disqualification
* Using the trail outside of the designated race time: Disqualification
* Disregard of the mandatory equipment: disqualification
* Violation of animal welfare regulation: Disqualification
* Manipulation/change of the trail: Disqualification
* Swimming refusal of the dog: walk to the change zone + 5 min. Penalty time
* Help in the change zone (with the exception of the permissible auxiliary position in the duathlon, see point "Behavior in the change zone"): 3 min. Penalty time
* Entering the change zone while on/riding scooter/bike : 2 min. Penalty time
* Too early start on bike or scooter: 2 min. Penalty time
RELEASE:
The organizer installs an official notice board with the following information: schedule of the event, regulations, list of participants, possible changes, results (after the last participant's arrival).
PROTEST:
Protests to the course of the race must be reported in written form and at the latest 30 minutes after the end of the race, with the entry of the author, the date and the time of the event management by inserting into the mailbox provided for the billboard. If they are dependent on official announcements or the announcement of the results, they must be submitted at the latest 30 minutes after the announcement or announcement.
The Race Marshal is the contact person for the race management.
PHOTOS:
Please note that photographs can be made at the venue and published for documentation purposes. With their participation, the organizers will receive from the participating person, without special compensation, the right to make photographs of her and to send or send them at this event, as well as in the field of social media (eg online, social media, ... ) And to use or use them in print media.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
The overnight stay on site is possible in tent, caravan or camper, please announce at the registration, the camping fee is included in the start fee.
A minimum of 6 kg ABC fire extinguishers must be installed per camping space.
Teams who only want to train can start on Saturday and Sunday after the race in the Happy Dog class without a valuation by 16.00 clock on the locked and supervised trail. It is strictly forbidden to drive the trail outside these times and will be punished with the exclusion from the event!
Athletes who are registered in the competition (Triathlon or Duathlon) can at no extra charge train further dogs within the framework of the Happy Dog class.
