The Great Herts AONB Event truly is like no other.
The courses are flat, undulating, and hilly in places, that take you out from your event HQ in Gosmore, near Hitchin, to the AONB countryside tracks and trails near many surrounding villages and back.
The event has multiple options for you to choose from, based on what floats your boat!
For the Runners…
For the Riders…
To summarise in order of events:
With free parking very close to the event village in Gosmore (2-3 minutes’ walk), you will be treated to some of the most scenic tracks and trails in the Hertfordshire area, that include the AONB of the Chilterns.
We will be including a children’s Runners & Riders event on the village green too, with a specific GP style course that they will find great fun! All proceeds of the children’s event and percentages of the adult’s entry fees will go to our chosen charities. This will take place whilst everyone else is out on their respective routes.
The following elements are included in 2027 (subject to change):

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Strictly no littering, keep our beautiful countryside clean! If you have rubbish to discard, you give it to a marshal.
If you are running with a 4 legged friend then we encourage you to keep them on the lead!
PRIZES
Prizes will be given to the overall podium placed male and female winners, plus age group winners too, entrants dependent.
