WELCOME TO THE ONLINE ENTRY FOR THE SUNDERLAND STROLLERS PIER TO PIER RACE 2026

ENTRIES WILL OPEN AT 12PM (MIDDAY) ON MONDAY 2nd FEBRUARY

The run starts on the beach at South Shields Pier and follows a superb scenic route along the cliff paths past Marsden Rock and Souter Lighthouse.  It rejoins the beach at Whitburn and finishes at Roker Pier in Sunderland.

Runners MUST keep away from public highways unless directed by a Race Marshal, failure to do so will result in disqualification.

£29 - UKA Registered Runners       -       £31 - Non-Registered Runners

Transport is available from Roker (Sunderland) to South Shields (£4 payable in advance or on the day - first come first served).  There is NO transport after the race.

In accordance with UK Athletics Rules headphones are NOT permitted, wearers will be asked to remove them, failure to do so will result in disqualification. Bone conducting devices are permitted.

There is a 2 hour cut off finish time and a water point at Souter Lighthouse, race distance is approximately 7 miles

No refunds or deferrals in the event of either an entrant being unable to participate or the event is cancelled.

Sunderland Strollers are a sociable running club with over 300 members, some rarely run, some take their running very seriously.

We are based at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland and compete at distances from 5K to Ultra Marathons, membership is just £40/year which includes England Athletics affiliation.
