If you’re up for an adventure in East Jutland, you should join the Aarhus Adventure Challenge. The race is a true adventure race, where you can expect to be challenged both physically and mentally, as well as in your navigation skills—which can be decisive for your final placing.
Aarhus Adventure Challenge offers two different distances. Challenge is for those who have tried adventure racing before, or for those who are looking for a physical challenge beyond the ordinary. Fighter is for lightly experienced participants or beginners. The navigation is easier than on Challenge and the distance is shorter—but it still offers plenty of challenges! If you can run 5 kilometers, you can definitely take part in the Fighter distance.
Regardless of which distance you choose, you are guaranteed a high heart rate, adventure, and teamwork.

Team size: 2–3 people
Start: Saturday, May 23 at 11:00
Winning time: 3.5 hours
Latest finish: Saturday, May 23 at 17:00
Disciplines: Running, cycling, team tasks, and maybe one or two surprises.
If you haven’t tried adventure racing before, don’t be intimidated by the somewhat overwhelming time frames. Each team controls its own pace, and navigation naturally slows things down, as it is up to you to find your way throughout the entire race. When time is up, teams are directed to the finish, and there may be loops that some teams do not manage to complete.
If you’re curious about the sport and live in Aarhus, take the opportunity to try it out with a race right in your own backyard.
We hope to open the world of adventure racing to many new, awesome participants—so jump in and see if it’s something for you!
