The Endless Garden – A Backyard Ultra

Format:
The Backyard Ultra is a last-person-standing race where runners complete a 4.167-mile loop (6.71km) every hour, on the hour.
Each hour a new loop begins, and runners must finish within the hour to continue.
The race ends only when one runner completes a loop alone.
Entry Fee: £70.00 per participant

Included With Entry:

• 5 x Drink Vouchers (Half Pints, Soft Drinks, Hot Drinks) redeemable by the athlete or their spectators.
• 1 x Commemorative Pint Glass
• 1 x Official Race Timing provided by racesonline.uk
• Race Winner (The Finisher) will get something cool. Mainly Glory.

Route Info:
The course will follow a 4.167-mile (6.71km) loop on a mixture of road, sealed paths and trail, designed to be safe and runnable throughout the night. A route map will be provided ahead of race day.

Spectators & Venue Info:
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend and support athletes at all times, day and night.

• The Waggoners pub will remain open and accessible throughout the event.
• Drinks will be available at bar prices.
• Loud encouragement and friendly banter are absolutely encouraged!

The Waggoners will continue serving the community as usual, but will also be offering a special athletes' menu, including an "Endless Backyard" set menu with simple, hearty options like pizzas and snacks to keep runners fuelled between loops.

Athlete Village:
Limited personal and group marquee space is available behind the pub on a first in, first served basis. (eg: Pitch your own site)
This year, the adjacent field will also be open for marquees and tents, offering additional room for crews and runners.
Spaces are unallocated, so early arrival is recommended to secure your spot.
For most athletes, the pub or connected marquee will be sufficient to securely store your personal gear during the event.
