This year, we are raising the bar higher with an enhanced prize pool totaling up to RM 35,000, making this event even more thrilling and rewarding. we are thrilled to see an even larger community of climbers, from seasoned trailblazers to first-time adventurers, all united by a shared passion for challenge and exploration. The Ledang Climbathon is not just a race; it is a celebration of the human spirit, determination, and the incredible landscapes that inspire us to push beyond boundaries.

Race Entry Pack Collection
Race Entitlement Pack Collection (REPC) for Kailas Ledang Climbathon 2025 will take place at Taman Negara Johor Gunung Ledang (Lagenda)

The REPC will be in operation between 1200-1800 17th April 2025 and 0400-0700 18th April 2025
Every runner is required to collect their race entitlement pack. No collection on behalf is allowed unless a runner is not starting (in which case, he/ she would need to provide a letter of acknowledgement authorising a friend to collect his/her race entitlement pack).
In this case, the bib no will not be included in the race entitlement pack to prevent unlawful start.
Documents required for REPC
Note: We encourage a paperless environment.
Hence, participant can produce softcopy of National Registration Identity Card (Malaysian) or Passport for verification during REPC.
Awards
Rules & Regulations
1. All participants must register online by providing their name, NRIC/Passport number, gender, contact number, email address, and emergency contact details.
2. Upon successful registration, each participant will receive a confirmation slip via email. The confirmation slip serves as the evidence of registration. All participants are required to present their respective identity cards and; or passports during Race Entry Pack Collection Day.
3. The Event is open to participants who are 18 years of age and above. Age is calculated based on 20th April 2025
4. Participants must place their race bibs facing forward, prominently as high as possible on the front of their Running Tee. Do not place your race bib on the side of your hips, on your back, or tucked away in your jacket. Runners found without their race bib numbers may be penalized or disqualified. Please ensure that the race bib number is visible.
5. Tampering with the race bib in any way (e.g. obscuring/removing the sponsor’s identification) will result in your disqualification. The organizer shall immediately disqualify any participants if this rule is not strictly observed.
6. If you need First Aid assistance on the course, you must contact the emergency number which will be provided to you during the Race Briefing on 20th April 2025 as stipulated in the EVENT GUIDE to be shared prior to race weekend.
7. You must carry your own mandatory gear at all times during the race. Random gear checks will be conducted during the race. Runners without mandatory items will not be able to proceed until they arrange for the missing items to be replaced.
8. You must obey the instructions given by checkpoint officials and withdraw from the race if you miss any cut-off time at the checkpoint or on the course.
9. Littering is prohibited. Kindly dispose of all litter at the nearest checkpoint.
10. Do not leave any human feces on the track. If you need to poo, use a toilet, a wag bag or get off track and “Leave No Trace”.
11. You must obey any information signs and markers along the race course.
12. The organizer reserves the right to discourage and/or penalize behavior that is considered unsporting.
13. The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel or suspend the race for any reason it deems fit to do so.

BIB
1. No Race Bib No Race Rule, Participants without Race Bibs on event day will not be allowed to start the race.
2. Each bib is given individually to each runner in the Race Pack, upon presentation of suitable identity document.
3. The bib must be worn and clearly visible at the front.
4. The bib number is required for access to the water station areas, physio treatment, rest rooms, and drop bags, etc.
5. Whosoever found to be running with another person’s race bib other than his/ her own will be subjected to disqualification, and possibly banned from the event for a period of time.
6. No unauthorized transfer of the race bib is allowed. Any transfer must be reported to and approved by the organizer to ensure that, in the event of an incident, the correct participant is identified, and appropriate medical assistance is provided if needed.
Indemnity & Release Form
1. The Indemnity & Release Form will be provided at the REPC. Please ensure you submit the signed form during registration at the REPC

3. For runners who cannot attend the race event, you may print the Authorization Form and pass to your representative to collect your race entitlements on behalf.
Bib Transfer
You are able to transfer your entry for FREE to an acquaintance up to 20th March 2025 11:59pm. Any transfer after TIME will be charge an RM50.00 transfer fee to complete their new entry.
CATEGORY UPGRADE/ DOWNGRADE
1. Category Upgrade/Downgrade is allowed before 20th March 2025 11:59pm.
2. For upgrade before DATE you are required to pay the category price difference only.
3. For downgrade before DATE, the downgrade is free, however the difference in the category price will not be refunded.
4. For upgrade after DATE you are required to pay the category price difference and a RM50.00 cash administration fee.
5. For downgrade after DATE, you are required to pay a RM50.00 cash administration fee, however the difference in the category price will not be refunded.
6. For Category Upgrade/ Downgrade after 30th June 2025, runners are required to execute them during REPC for a surcharge of RM100.00.
CHECKPOINTS OR WATER STATION POINTS
1. The timing will be recorded at the checkpoints/water station points established by the organizers;
2. Only runners sporting their regular bib number will have access to the water station;
3. No water cups will be dispensed to the runners. Runners will need to use their own cups or containers for any drinks served at the check points or water stations;
4. Food and drinks at the water station points are solely for runners and official support crews only.
Support Crew
1. Support crews are not required for this race, as the respective checkpoints by the organizer are adequate for runners to successfully complete the race.
2. If you have support crews, kindly ensure that they only support you at the respective checkpoints. Support crews are not allowed on the course, as they could be a hazard to other runners or to themselves. Anyone found to have breached this rule of law will be disqualified and evicted from the course.
3. Organizer is not responsible for the safety of support crews. The registered runner is responsible for the actions of his/ her support crews. Support crews must comply with all instructions from event officials. The runner may be penalized or disqualified for actions or breaches of the rules by their support crew.
4. Support crews must not consume refreshments at checkpoints. The food is for the competitors only.
5. Only runners are allowed to gain possession of their drop bags at the designated checkpoints.
Baggage Station
1. A piece of personal bag/luggage will be allowed to be deposited at the race venue
2. The bag must be clearly labelled with runner's name and bib number;
3. All drop bags must be retrieved with RUNNER’S BIB at the respective baggage counters either by runners themselves or a representative. Any baggage not collected after race may be disposed of.
4. The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any item in the baggage.
Safety and Medical assistance
1. In order to ensure race safety, race organizer will prepare and arrange for rescue and medical assistance during the race. However, each participant must recognize and understand that there are risks of injuries and/or accidents associated with trail running. Runners are participating in this race at his/her own risk.
2. While the race organizer has purchased Public Liability Insurance and Personal Medical Insurance coverage (hospitalization) for this event, it is strongly recommended that the runners obtained an adequate Personal Medical Insurance coverage for himself.
3. Medical points will be set up at certain water stations. Please refer to the CP Chart
4. If necessary, and in the interests of the person being rescued, at the exclusive discretion of the organizers, the official medical rescue services may be called upon to take over operations, using any means they consider appropriate, including an ambulance. Any costs deriving from such exceptional transport will be charged to the person who has been rescued.
5. Depending on the runner health conditions, an emergency evacuation may be required. This emergency evacuation will be at the expenses of the person being rescued.
6. The official race medical assistants are authorized to withdraw from the competition any runners that they consider as unfit to continue or are in danger. The runner bib will be removed as part of the DNF (Did Not Finish) procedures.
7. If a runner drops out from the race, runner must first inform and register with the nearest checkpoints that he/she is dropping out. Proper "DNF" procedure should be followed and completed before the runner is allowed to leave the event.
8. In case of an emergency, if you are unable to reach the race headquarters, you can also call the public emergency number '999' directly for help.
9. The race organizers reserves the right to implement any additional measures at any time to enhance and protect the safety of the race and the runners before the race and during the race.
CHANGES TO THE ROUTE OR TO THE TIME DEADLINES - CANCELLATION OF THE RACE
1. The organizers reserve the rights, at any time and without prior notice, to make changes to the route and checkpoints/water station points or to the time deadlines.
2. In the event of adverse weather conditions (a strong depression with heavy rain), the start of the race may be postponed for 6 hours at most, after which time the race will be cancelled.
3. Where necessary, the organizers reserve the rights to make changes to or eliminate certain stretches of the route.
DNF (Do Not Finish) Procedures
1. Runners may DNF voluntarily or by missing the stipulated cut off times at various checkpoints along the race course.
2. Runner who decides to pull out voluntarily must proceed to the nearest checkpoint, inform and register with the race staffs by signing a DNF Form, and Cut apart the bib Corner with "Finisher Tee, Medal", surrender it to the officials.
3. Runner who fails to notify the organisers immediately, thereby setting in motion a search and rescue operations by the rescue staff, will be liable to pay for any costs deriving there-from.
4. Runner who has DNFed from the race are not allowed to continue his/her run. IF he/she insists on continuing running, he/she is NO LONGER in this event, and will be running entirely on his/her own accord and at his/her own risk.
PROHIBITED ACTIONS
1. Not carrying the mandatory items during the race.
2. Taking shortcuts and/or running off the track.
3. Throw any garbage along the running route.
4. Cheating (e.g. using other means of transportation, using substitute runners and other unlawful actions).
5. Not abiding by the rules and regulation given by the race organizer and official race staffs including medical assistants, emergency staffs and marshals.
6. Not wearing the race bib at all times during the race.
7. Continue to run after the cut off time without the agreement of race officials.
8. Doping and the use of prohibited drugs.

PENALTIES
Breaking of any rules may incur a time penalties or disqualification. Any such penalties are at the organizer's discretion and are final.
