EVENT DISTANCES

LA VUELTA (64 Miles) – Leaving from the Wellington Aquatic Complex, both rides are one large loop (see link below). There is a rest stop at Spanish River Park (34 miles). The pace of each group will be controlled by ride marshals at speeds indicated below. All rides will have follow support and be led by the Florida Highway Patrol. The rest stop will have Coca-Cola, snacks, and restrooms. Fluids are provided for the return. Please download the Strava file link below.

7:00 am – Vuelta A Ride (controlled speeds 24+ mph) (64 miles)

7:05 am – Vuelta B Ride (controlled speed 18–20 mph) (64 miles)

LC TriShop: November 1, 2025 through Friday, November 21, 2025, during store hours.

Wellington Aquatic Complex: Sunday, November 23, 2025 (Event Day) from 5:45 am to 7:00 am. Please arrive early!

EVENT FEES (NO EVENT DAY REGISTRATION)

Entry Fee: Now until November 16, 2025: $45* (SAVE $15)

Late Fee: November 17, 2025 to November 23, 2025: $60*

*Excludes merchant and processing fees.

POTENTIAL HAZARDS

  • Traffic and Public Roads: While the event is escorted by the Florida Highway Patrol, the roads will not be closed to public traffic. Be aware of vehicles at all times, follow traffic signals, and ride in a single file or as directed by the event marshals.
  • Road Conditions: Be prepared for varying road conditions, including potholes, debris, wet surfaces, and uneven pavement. Always keep an eye on the road ahead and signal any hazards to fellow riders.
  • Weather Conditions: Florida weather can be unpredictable. Ensure you are prepared for heat, rain, or sudden changes in weather. Stay hydrated, wear appropriate clothing, and apply sunscreen.
  • Wildlife and Pedestrians: Be cautious of wildlife crossing the roads and pedestrians. Slow down in areas with potential hazards and remain vigilant.
  • Group Riding Dynamics: Riding in a group requires awareness and communication. Maintain a safe distance from other riders, avoid sudden braking or movements, and signal your intentions clearly.

SAFETY MEASURES

  • Helmet Requirement: All participants must wear a properly fitted helmet at all times while riding.
  • Visibility: Wear bright, reflective clothing and use lights on your bike to increase visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
  • Communication: Use hand signals and verbal cues to communicate with other riders. Announce turns, stops, and hazards.
  • Obey Traffic Laws: Follow all traffic laws, signals, and instructions from event marshals and the Florida Highway Patrol.
  • First Aid: Familiarize yourself with the locations of first aid stations and carry a basic first aid kit.
  • Emergency Contact: Ensure you have emergency contact information accessible and a fully charged phone.
