Thanks for all the kind comments and your support of fellow runners. I have now switched off the facility to comment to allow you to print a clean list for your records. We are not cleaning and checking data to ensure 100% accuracy.
Unaudited Chip Times will be verified over the next few days prior to production of your certificates. We will email all runners on completion.
Huge thanks for coming to run the Ripon 10. Everyone at Ripon Runners hopes that you enjoyed your day.
Thankfully the sun came out and the weather was fine and it was a joy to see so many smiling faces even though this course remains one of the most challenging in Yorkshire!
Congratulations and we hope you enjoyed our hospitality and our Goody Bag!
We look forward to seeing you at the Jolly Holly Jog on 29th December 2013.

Welcome to the Ripon 10
Set in the heart of North Yorkshire and probably the most scenic multi terrain race in England, the Ripon 10 is attracting runners from all over the UK and Europe.
This year we are running around Studley Royal Park which houses the ruins of Fountains Abbey and is a designated World Heritage Site. The area of 323 hectares (800 acres) features an 18th century landscaped garden and some of the largest Cistercian ruins in Europe. The park includes a Jacobean mansion and a Victorian church designed by William Burges.
Victoria Clayton, Race Director stated “This sensational race starts & finishes at the historic Hell Wath in Ripon City and is a hilly but picturesque course that leads the runners from Hell Wath around the Studley Royal Park with beautiful views of Ripon and stunning, surrounding countryside”.
Over 20 Yorkshire Businesses are supporting the event including Taylors of Harrogate, Ripon Spa Hotel, Country Products, Tastes of Yorkshire and The Oldest Sweet Shop in England (based in Pateley Bridge).
Keen runner, Stewart Hymas, from main sponsors Ripon Land Rover said “We are delighted to sponsor this event; we all need to get out in the fresh air and feel the sun on our backs and getting away from the city is a main theme of the Land Rover brand”. All runners are deeply upset about the recent events in Boston, we are a very close driven community that just want to run and stay fit. At times like this I guess we all feel like getting away from it all and the Ripon 10 gives us that freedom”.
Gary Verity Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire said: “Ripon 10 is one of the key events in the city’s calendar and is on a beautifully picturesque route”. Festivals and events are big business in Yorkshire; they’re worth around £500m to the economy and account for 10% of visits here. Ripon 10 makes a fantastic contribution to the rich diversity of events on offer in Yorkshire throughout the year and we are proud to support it.”
Ripon Runner’s annual 10 mile (approximately) race will take place on Sunday 19th May 2013, parking & changing facilities are available at the race HQ Ripon Cricket Club, Studley Road, Ripon.
