The 10 KM race will take place on Sunday 7th July 2019, 10.30am at the Hurst Leisure Centre, Brimpton Road, Baughurst, Tadley, Hampshire, RG26 5NL.
The course is a single loop of 10 kilimetres over quiet, pretty country lanes on the Hampshire – Berkshire borders. The course is accurately measured and is well marked and marshalled. There are drinks stations at approx 5K, 7.5K and at the finish. An extra drinks station will be put up at 9K (outside a pub) if the weather is particularly hot.
The Race HQ is at the Hurst Leisure Centre where there are ample parking and changing facilities and an on-site caterer.
Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 men and first 3 ladies, regardless of age, plus the first finisher outside of the first 3 in the following age/gender categories: M40, M50, M60, F35, F45 and F55.
As a memento of the event a good quality 100% polyester technical T-shirt and medal will be awarded to all finishers. New for this year we are also adding Chip timing.
Finally, there will be a cash prize of £50 awarded for a course record. These are currently 31.37 for men and 35.53 for ladies.
Are you up for a 3k Fun Run? Then come along to the annual Tadley 3K Fun Run on Sunday 8th July at 9.45am at the Hurst Leisure Centre, Brimpton Road, Baughurst, Tadley, RG26 5NL. This 3K event takes place on the same day as our successful 10k Summer Race.
There will be a prize for the first boy and first girl. This year we are also introducing a Team Trophy. All finishers will receive a medal.
Any age welcome to run the course but only children aged 4 to 16 are eligible for prizes.
Note: The new course is off-road and the race is well marshalled. However we recommend that very small children are accompanied by an adult.
Main 10K - £18 affiliated, £20 unaffiliated. £5 extra on the day.
Kids 3K - £4 per child - Adults are not permitted to enter this race, however they can run with a child to assist.
Multi-Race Package - £43 Affiliated and £49 unaffiliated, combined entry for Tim's Tadley 10Km, Tadley Runners 10 Mile, and Tadley Xmas runs.
