Welcome to TrailX's Spring Off-Road Duathlon, taking place at Matterley Basin, Nr Winchester

This off road duathlon is has something for both beginners and more experienced competitors. Both the run and mountain bike courses are totally off road and will wind their way around the woodland on the estate and make great use of the open farm tracks so you can get some power down (or take a breather).

The Full X Duathlon and Relay Duathlon are open to anyone who is 17 or older on the day. The route will be made up of a 4km run that uses gravel farm tracks, woodland fire roads and twisty woodland singletrack. Being a duathlon, the run route will be completed both before and after the bike section. The mountain bike course also has a great mix of gravel road, fire tracks and the singletrack that weaves its way round the woodland, as used at lots of previous mountain bike races. You will complete 3 laps of the bike course giving an approximate total distance of 15km, at the end of each lap you will pass through the start/finish area so that friends and family can cheer you on.

The Half X and Youth Duathlon is open to anyone who is 13 years or older on the day. This event will use a shortened version of the run course giving an approximate length of 2.5km and the mountain bike course will be exactly the same but will complete 2 laps, giving an approximate total distance of 10km.
