Welcome to the 2021 Arbor Day 5k/10k and Kids Run.

We are happy to be back and celebrating not only Arbor Day. We are celbrating

150 Years of Arbor Day!

The race will take you through some of the best scenery in eastern Nebraska over gravel, paved and brick roads through Steinhart Park, around the grounds of the Arbor Lodge and through Arbor Lodge State Historical Park.  This run is for runners of all types, ages and abilities.  Pets and strollers are welcome.  Get the whole family involved!  New this year is the Kids Run for kids 12 and under.  Watch and participate with your young ones as they run an abbreviated course and receive a medal at the end.

Each 5K and 10K participant will receive a finishers medal, a race shirt, chip timed results, and be eligible for overall and age group awards.

Kids race does not include shirt or chip timing.  Runners will receive a finishers medal.

Every runner, in person or virtual, will have a Ponderosa Pine planted in Chadron State Park in their honor!  We are teaming up with the Arbor Day Foundation to re-tree this state park due to a forest fire.  Our goal is to plant 500 trees!
