Booby’s Beer & Bubbles Fun Run for Manx Breast Cancer Support Group

A charity fun run (or walk, cycle etc) around Douglas Quay catering for all ages and abilities, in aid of the Brilliant Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.

Distances from 1- 5k available. The reward at the end being one of the following; a Bottle of a Limited Edition Hooded Ram Blonde Booby Bear Beer or a Bottle of Fizz or a Special Edition Davison’s Bubblegum ice cream for kids (and big kids too) plus everyone gets a Manx Breast Cancer medal.

There will be prizes for class winners and we are encouraging everyone to embrace fancy dress and or at least wear pink gear so there will be additional prizes awarded to best individual and family/team turnouts. Booby will be there to do the fancy dress judging!

The fun run commences at 5pm and the start line will be by the tongue car park area. One lap of the course is 1k and can be done however 1,2 or 3 times, there is also an extended lap that is 2.5k for those wanting to do 2 laps to do the 5k distance. Timing chips will be available for those wishing to have a timed run.

Immediately following the fun run, there will be an after party in the Courtyard at the back of the Hooded Ram, where you will be rewarded with your medal and selected finishers goodie and where the winners’ presentations will be done. In the Courtyard there will also be live bands playing, with food and drinks available all evening, so please look to make a night of it.
