Silchester Fun Run with Chip Timing

Saturday 11^th May 2019!

Enjoy a run along a piece of English Heritage by participating in the Silchester Fun Run with friends and family. The course will take you through inspiring trails in ancient natural woodland, and along the roman wall that once enclosed the Roman town of Calleva Atrebatum.

The fun run has something for everyone, offering a multi terrain 5 mile route for the more adventurous, and a 2.5 mile route for mixed ability runners, families and walkers.

Following the success of last year’s event there will be the traditional fun zone accompanied by the Scooby-Doo MC van, Pop Up Café; selling cakes, refreshments and a bar, plus music, car parking, bike racks and BBQ.

Entries are available online up until midday Friday 10^th May and on the day.

New Medal Design, Water and Banana for all finishers, plus trophies for the following categories;

2.5mile Race

12 and Under Boys 1st, 2nd and 3^rd place

12 and Under Girls1st, 2nd and 3^rd place

5mile Race

Male 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Female - 1st, 2nd and 3rd

16 and Under Boys- 1st, 2nd and 3^rd

16 and Under Girls- 1st, 2nd and 3^rd

Male Vet - 1st (50 and over)

Female Vet - 1st (50 and over)

Chip timing will provide you with a live timing screen at the end of race and all results will be available on line shortly after the event.

There are two races available at this event either the 2.5 mile Fun Run or the 5 mile Trail Run, please ensure you enter into the correct race. Book early to get the tickets at the online price!
